We had the four course surprise menu with matching wines, which was superb as always. This was not my first visit to La Tour, and it remains one of my favourite restaurants. It was well worth the drive to get there as the furthest point on our 1,000 mile road trip.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. Everything from the food and wine pairings to the service was perfect. Highly imaginative chef with fantastic flavour profiles. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Sancerre.
Expensive but worth it. We went for the 74€ menu and every course was sumptuous, served by efficient and knowledgeable staff. Very comprehensive wine list with far more on offer than the local Sancerre. A refined dining experience on par with the best.
Very nice atmosphere and service. Nice presentations and we had fish and meat for the different courses. My husband loved the cheese platter. Worth a dinner reservation to experience.
We really did enjoy the evening. A perfect diner with 20 people and non complaints at all. The food and fine were excellent, the service outstanding and with all in one room wit a view on the valley made it a perfect evening.
The Mackerel dish was one of the most beautiful plates I've seen. We loved all the flavors and textures of our lunch. I give La Tour the highest recommendation if you plan to visit Sancerre.
We were here for lunch and the food was fantastic. The service was also impeccable. I cannot fault either. The ambience of the restaurant was also on point. An issue that did standout and which was the difference between rating this 5/5 and 4/5 was the fact we had to wait a while for menus. It seemed they did not have enough menus to go around. Very strange!
All in all a lovely experience and if ever in Sancerre, well worth the booking
